Having been born and raised in Canton, I grew up listening to 1480 WHBC and it is an honor to be a member of the Morning Team and the WHBC Newsroom. I've been with the station since June of 1992. The stories I cover mean as much to me as they do to you because Stark County is my home. I've been the President of Martin Luther Lutheran Church for several years and that has allowed me to watch the revitalization of downtown Canton, not just as a reporter but as a leader of a downtown church. When I am not covering hot, local political issues, trials and fires, or chasing down leads for a story, I enjoy gardening. I find it is a great way to relax and forget about the hectic world we live in. I am proud to say I am a 1976 graduate of Mckinley High School and I still follow the Bulldogs. I admit it is sometimes hard to be impartial, but that's what happens when you bleed red and black. |
