No Pay Raise for Canton Local Teachers

The Canton Local School Board has annoucned staff members have agreed to forgo 3% pay raises they were set to receive next school year. The action is expected to save the district around $500,000. The system was facing a projected $2 million budget shortfall for next school year. Superintendent, Teresa Purses says there may still have to be some staff cuts. |
