Lou Ann, her husband, John and their son Andrew (A.J.) moved to the Canton area about 24 years ago, having spent the first 17 years of their marriage traveling halfway around the world and back again, following John’s U.S. Air Force career.
When they moved to Canton Lou Ann was Vice President of Marketing for United Bank. Lou Ann left the banking industry and joined the Canton Repository for several years and then was named Managing Director of Canton Ballet where she worked for 11 years.
She has recently joined the Pellegrino Music Center as Executive Director of the Pellegrino Fine Arts Academy. The Pellegrino Academy provides lessons in nearly all musical instruments, including voice.
Lou Ann and John first met in the campus radio station at Southern Illinois University where both were communications majors, and her voice has been heard often on WHBC in ads for Canton Ballet.
