Julia Dick is President of MOLA Productions, a Canton, Ohio Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations and Events company. 

 

Some of her more well-known local clients are the Stark County Fair, the Stark County Home & Garden Show and the new USA Motorcycle – Tattoo Classic event, coming to the Fairgrounds in September.  

 

She is also producing the first annual Ohio Fitness & Health Expo in January 2009 at the Civic Center. In fact, one of her most famous fitness clients was Billy Blanks and TAEBO.  And she represents a bathing suit company out of Los Angeles.  Its a rough life getting to go on photo shoots to Hawaii!

 

She grew up in the Panama Canal Zone in Central America, and lived in Arizona and Atlanta before moving to Canton 14 years ago to get married to one of the

Horseradish Kings – Larry Dick. Yes, they are the family that produces the famous Dick’s Horseradish. She had to learn how to eat horseradish right out of the jar before walking down the aisle. 

 

Her office is right here in downtown Canton, over on Fourth Street, above the new art galleries. While she is not an artist herself, she collects MOLA artwork from the country of Panama, made by the Kuna people that live on the Islands off the Atlantic coast. She hopes to open a MOLA art gallery soon somewhere in downtown Canton in the next year and sell some of the hundreds of MOLAs that she has collected over the past 35 years.
