Guard Expands Local Presence

The Ohio Army National Guard is expanding operations at the Akron-Canton airport. The guard has dedicated an 11,000 square foot addition to its hangar, which will allow for storage and maintenance of its new helicopters, such as the CH-47 Chinook.
The addition also includes a new cold storage maintenance hangar. The $6,400,000 expansion began in October 2006 and wrapped up last week. |
